About us:

     Alice Texas Exes is an officially chartered chapter of The Texas Ex-Students' Association
of The University of Texas at Austin.  It is composed of the Association's members who live in and around Alice, Texas.

    If you are a member of The Ex-Students' Association and live
in the Alice area, you are automatically a member of our chapter.
We have no local dues!

    Our chapter's mission, like the mission of The Ex-Students' Association, is to praise, promote, and protect The University of Texas at Austin and its students, and to unite, inform and involve alumni and friends in fellowship and support of education.  Read
our Chapter By-Laws to learn more of what we're all about and
how we operate.

     As Texas alumni and friends of the University, we are very
proud to have in Alice, Texas one of the approximately 130 local chapters world wide of The Ex-Students' Association.  Additionally, we are proud of the fact that we have awarded a Local Scholarship to a entering UT student from our area for the past 23 consecutive years!

     Oh, and we have one more very important "unofficial" mission.  We are all avid fans of the
two best football teams in the State of Texas:
the UT Longhorns and the Alice Coyotes.
They both, by the way, share the same colors: 
Burnt Orange and White!  View a photo of

     ALL persons (members or non-members) who have attended the University or anyone who simply is a friend of the University of Texas at Austin are welcome at all of our local Alice Texas Exes events.  Although we strongly encourage membership in The Ex-Students' Association, we do not require membership to attend our local chapter events.

     After attending our local events, we hope you will in time support our fine institution by joining or re-joining The Ex-Students' Association.  You do not have to have attended the University to become a member.  Anyone who wants to join is welcome.  Find out about The Ex-Students' Association membership benefits
